Short Bio:

  • Kotaro Tsuru is Professor at Keio University, Graduate School of Business and Commerce. Prior to that, Dr. Tsuru was Senior Fellow at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI) (2001-2012), an economist at Bank of Japan (2000-2001), Economics Department, OECD, Paris (1995-2000) and Economic Planning Agency of Japanese Government (1984-1995). His research includes comparative institutional analysis and labor market institutions. Dr. Tsuru received his D. Phil. in economics from University of Oxford.
